About the Art:

I create my own cabochons and “stones” in glass, using a technique called lampworking, or torchworking. I take locally-made glass to a molten state in a flame over 2000F, manipulating it into designs, textures and small worlds while molten, to create pieces with depth and texture unique to glass. These pieces then create the center around which art jewelry is born.
